Interlibrary Loan Services

Interlibrary loan is a cooperative arrangement with other libraries that enables us to make available to you items not in the Pierce Law Library collection. Once a request for material is received, a search is conducted to find the nearest participating library with the item.

Interlibrary loan privileges are extended to current students, faculty, staff and attorney members.

Scholarship Support

Pierce Law Faculty Scholarship

The library maintains a directory of publications, presentations and writings by current and emeritus faculty at Pierce Law. Items are categorized as: articles, books, book chapters and other. If you do not see your publication on your scholarship page, please send the information to Tom Hemstock for inclusion.

Circulation & Reserve Services

Faculty may borrow books for an indefinite period. The library reserves the right to recall materials.

Classroom Support Services

  • Course Research Pathfinders

Librarians will create electronic research pathfinders for courses that satisfy the advanced writing requirement as well as for courses involving specialized research sources such as immigration law, international law, administrative law, trademark law, etc. Each research pathfinder is designed to serve as a starting point for research for students enrolled in the course with links to primary and secondary sources. A list of current research pathfinders is available.
