Access

Franklin Pierce Law Center Library is a private law library serving the research needs of Pierce Law's faculty and students.  Alumni/ae of Pierce Law enjoy free access to the library forever.  An Attorney Membership program provides subscribers with access to the library and special privileges in exchange for an annual fee.

On October 11, 2000, National Public Radio broke the news:

"NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE SENATE ACQUITS CHIEF JUSTICE DAVID BROCK OF THE FOUR ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT BROUGHT"

From that report:

In an historic impeachment trial, the New Hampshire state Senate has acquitted the state's highest judge on all charges. The state Senate yesterday voted down all four articles of impeachment against Chief Justice David Brock.

Federal Depository Library Program

Franklin Pierce Law Center Library has been a selective Federal depository library since 1973 and is one of nine depository libraries in the State of New Hampshire.

Shelving

Please do not re-shelve the library books you use

To serve you better, we've initated a new policy that only employees of the law library re-shelve books.

There is a book truck on the main floor and in the IP Library for you to place books on for later re-shelving.

Services

Membership Fees - Alumni

Alumni/ae membership rates are scaled after the first year. All graduates of Pierce Law are offered free membership for the first year following graduation. Five years after graduation alumni/ae are charged the sole practitioner fee, currently $240 per year. Alumni/ae may purchase individual memberships even if they work in a law firm.
