Fact Research

There are many methods for predicting the future. For example, you can read horoscopes, tea leaves, tarot cards, or crystal balls. Collectively, these methods are known as "nutty methods." Or you can put well-researched facts into sophisticated computer models, more commonly referred to as "a complete waste of time."
--Scott Adams (1957 - ), The Dilbert Future
Links to conducting Fact Research, a topic presented at the New Hampshire Bar's CLE on legal research at Pierce Law on May 17, 2005, are available on the Library's website in the Attorney Member section, along with tips and pre-constructed Google queries. We have taken care to vet these sites before offering them and believe they offer reliable information on a wide variety of topics. Bookmark the Fact Research page to make the best use of it. We plan to update the listing from time to time. If you find a broken link, contact me.

Cheap Gas and Google Tutor

Google Tutor, is not a blog done by the fine folks at Google, but a nifty site that offers shortcuts, hacks and other useful information about using Google. The useful hack on the site today combines Google Maps with Cheapgas.com to produce maps to cheap gas stations (relatively speaking).

Google Tutor includes a discussion of GreaseMonkey scripts to enhance the functionality of your Firefox browser. A list of GreaseMonkey scripts is available here.
