SERVICES: Circulation
As this is a research collection, most library materials do not circulate.
Exceptions are single-volume, bound treatises, and single volume government
documents. Most reserve items may be signed out for three hour periods
of in-library use. Special Reserve items may be checked out for 24 hour
use.
Franklin Pierce Law
Center faculty, staff and students with current I.D.s, may check out
library materials which circulate. Borrowing
privileges are also available
to members of the Law Library. Please return all borrowed materials to a desk
assistant. If returned on or before the due date, the borrower’s responsibility
for the materials is discharged.
OVERDUE
MATERIALS
Borrowers
are charged $.50 a day per title for circulating materials held after
the date due. Materials may be renewed on or before the due date if not requested
by another borrower. Overdue hourly reserve items are charged at $.50 an
hour per title.
RESERVE
MATERIALS
The
Reserve collection is located behind the Circulation Desk. Faculty reserve
materials, course textbooks,
and other frequently used materials
are kept on Reserve for the mutual benefit of the Law Center community.

video and selected audio cassettes are kept on Reserve. Audio
tapes on Reserve may be borrowed for 48 hours, outside library use.
