Classroom Support

RESERVE REQUESTS

All materials designated for reserve should be given directly to Paula Jewell at the Circulation Desk, ext. 1131.

Library materials as well as personal materials may be put on reserve. Please indicate if the materials are personal. Books, video and audio tapes, photocopies, and all other formats may be placed on reserve.

If you are putting photocopied materials on reserve, please supply the total number of photocopies you would like since the Library does not make duplicate copies.

Since all reserve materials will receive a barcode, any loose papers should be supplied in a binder or other permanently bound format. Indicate if a barcode may be attached directly to any personal materials.

Please note materials submitted for reserve may not be immediately available to students and plan accordingly. Work study students do not process or remove materials from reserve so do not expect them to be able to handle last minute requests for you.

All faculty reserve materials will be removed at the end of the semester and returned to you.

CLASSROOM RESEARCH PRESENTATIONS

If you require research papers in your course or teach courses with specialized research sources such as tax, labor, international law, etc., talk to your librarian liaison about scheduling a specialized in-class research presentation. Your liaison can provide a practical component to your course by introducing students to the major print and online topical research sources as well as discussing research strategies.
