Study Rooms Policy
- Five study rooms are located on the first floor of the Law Library.
- All room reservations
are recorded
- Room keys must be checked out at the circulation desk
- Reservations
can be made for a maximum of 4 hours by a group of 2 or more
students.
- A reservation is held for 10 minutes after the scheduled
time.
- Thereafter, the room is offered on a first come, first serve
basis.
- There is a fine of $0.50 per hour for keys kept past the 4-hour
time limit.
Reserving a Study Room
- Groups of two or more students may reserve a room up to one week
in advance.
- An individual may not reserve a room
- Individuals may check out
a key for a room not reserved by a group OR after the 10 minute
reservation hold if the group does not show.
- Students must sign their names (first and last) legibly in the room
check-out book at the circulation desk indicating the duration of
their planned stay in the study room.
- The
student who checks out the key is responsible for the condition of
the room and all of the equipment in that room.
- Study rooms
are to remain locked at all times.
Fast Facts About Study Rooms
- Video camcorder is available in the Gallagher Study Room.
- VCR/DVD player is available in all study rooms except the Upton Study Room.
