Study Rooms Policy

Five study rooms are located on the first floor of the Law Library.
All room reservations are recorded
Room keys must be checked out at the circulation desk
Reservations can be made for a maximum of 4 hours by a group of 2 or more students.
A reservation is held for 10 minutes after the scheduled time.
Thereafter, the room is offered on a first come, first serve basis.
There is a fine of $0.50 per hour for keys kept past the 4-hour time limit.

Reserving a Study Room

Groups of two or more students may reserve a room up to one week in advance.
An individual may not reserve a room
Individuals may check out a key for a room not reserved by a group OR after the 10 minute reservation hold if the group does not show.
Students must sign their names (first and last) legibly in the room check-out book at the circulation desk indicating the duration of their planned stay in the study room.
The student who checks out the key is responsible for the condition of the room and all of the equipment in that room.
Study rooms are to remain locked at all times.
